- Instructions for WorkBench:
-
- Double click on the music icon. If you wish to change selections while
-
- a song is playing, (That is assuming of course that you have more than
-
- one Music-xxx song) double click on the new selection. To stop the music
-
- altogether, click on the music windows close gadget.
-
-
- NOTE: If the system is running low on chip memory, then you might not be
-
- able to start the new song before stopping the old one.
-
-
- >>> Use the program called "Filter" to toggle the audio filter. <<<
-
-
- Instructions for the CLI:
-
- When started from the CLI, you MUST use one of the following formats.
-
-
- Run Music-xxx (audio filter unchanged, continous loop)
-
- Run Music-xxx * (audio filter on, continous loop)
-
- Run Music-xxx - (audio filter off, continous loop)
-
- Run Music-xxx n (audio filter unchanged, loop n times)
-
- Run Music-xxx *n (audio filter on, loop n times)
-
- Run Music-xxx -n (audio filter off, loop n times)
-
-
- NOTE: The "n" in the above examples represents a single digit number
-
- from "0" thru "9". If "0" is used, then the song will loop 10 times.
-
-
- To stop a song, click on the music windows close gadget. Also, if you
-
- have enough available chip memory, you may start a new song without
-
- stopping the old one. The old one will terminate automatically.
-
-
- An additional program called "STOP!" has been included. This program
-
- allows songs started from a script file, to be stopped from a script file.
-
-
- The songs that make up the Music-xxx series were removed from European
-
- and/or European styled demos, and put in their current format by me.
-
- Original author(s) unknown.
-
-
- WARNING: The player routine used in the original demos broke a few
-
- programming rules. I opted to use it with only minor changes.
-
- consequently, some programs (i.e. ProjectD) will refuse to work
-
- or may prompt a visit by the GURU. I have come across only two
-
- programs that cause problems. In both cases, stopping the music,
-
- running the other program then restarting the music fixed the
-
- problem. (Even when the other program was still running)
